Lead times are 4-6 weeks. However, during busy periods such as Christmas, this may extend to 8 weeks. Orders for Christmas must be placed by 15th November at the latest.
If you are supplying your own fabric or measurements, please make sure you have checked the colour and meterage and provided full details to PBI including any pattern repeat. PBI will not take responsibility for checking colour and fabric names for fabric that has been ordered by a customer.
For mail order customers, PBI will work with your measurements and check orders thoroughly on completion. Orders are then dispatched, including the relevant documentation relating to the confirmed measurements.
We’re confident that you’ll be happy with the quality and the fit of your curtains and blinds. In the event that you’re not happy, we’ll always work with you to resolve any problems and disagreements.
Quotations are valid for 6 months, and, where appropriate, include VAT at the usual rate. Hereafter they may be subject to change.

Checking your order
You are responsible for checking all goods upon receipt of delivery and should notify us immediately of any faults or defects with 5 working days. We cannot accept responsibility for any discrepancies or faults after this time.
We accept returns on products that are damaged, faulty or incorrect. We are unable to accept returns of partial or cut lengths from your original order.
Our fabrics are printed to order and can be printed on a variety of different base cloths. Our base cloths have been chosen carefully to complement our designs and are predominantly linen, linen union and natural fabrics. Please call to discuss using a different base cloth or request a sample.
Pippa Blacker Fabric will advise, but not guarantee suitability of our fabrics. Please ensure that any fabric supplied by us is fit for the purpose for which you intend to use it prior to ordering. Digitally printed fabrics are best suited for curtains, blinds, cushions and light upholstery. We do not recommend using our fabrics for hard wearing and everyday upholstery.
The natural nature of some our chosen base cloths have a relaxed and soft finish. For example, fabrics used for roman blinds will relax over time and the folds of the blinds will take on a more casual look.
Our fabrics are suitable for Domestic use only and do not come with a Fire Retardant finish. If you require a FR finish for commercial use, please contact us for details.
Please remember to check pattern repeats on the website and your sample.
We try to ensure colours remain as consistent as possible through all our social media platforms and the website. We recommend ordering a sample before placing your final order. Please be aware there may be slight colour discrepancies between your sample and your final order, due to the natural nature of our base cloths and how they respond to colour and different batch orders.
It is normal for linen fabrics to have natural slubs and irregularities, this is part of the charm of using a natural fibre.
Fabrics will naturally change tone during different times of the day. When looking at your samples, remember to see how the fabric looks in the evening light and during the brightest part of the day.
Fabrics will fade over time if exposed to direct sunlight. For example, an occasional chair or scatter cushions on a sofa if positioned in a south facing window, will be affected by the sunlight and fade.
It is recommended that you use quality linings and interlinings to help protect our fabrics when using them for curtains and blinds.
Caring for our fabrics
We recommend dry cleaning our fabrics. Natural fabrics and in particular linen will shrink by 10% when washed, even on a 30 degree wash. If you choose to wash your cushions or fabric PBF cannot take responsibility for what happens during washing and ironing.
